Happy Friday Mustangs! Today is our first event at MHHS since distance learning! Many of our counselors will be attending and we hope to see you and your families drive by! Please remember that counselors are available for support/questions/concerns. Please click here to make an appointment with your counselor. Have a safe weekend! Even though we are social distancing we can still keep active. Physical activity can help reduce stress and anxiety. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with your current situation, give physical activity a try. This week is full of sunshine and warm temperatures. It's a perfect time to go outside and take a nice leisurely stroll through the neighborhood. If you can’t get out, click here for a list of the free workout programs.. You never know, it might be just what you need. Always remember, your counselors are here for you if you need anything.

Hey Mustangs! It’s time for your positive perspective Thursday. Here are a few things to help you take care of yourself and bring a smile to your face this week. Dolphin & Sloth edition Check out this Aloha-themed video on Navigating Relationships in Tight Quarters for some ideas to help you and your family keep the peace when you’re spending so much time together. As all are practicing social distancing it's important to remember that we can still keep connected with our family and friends. We can do this through virtual means. Zoom and Skype are similar sites that allow you to have virtual phone calls. Netflix party: Netflix party allows you to watch movies with friends while chatting with them at the same time. https://www.netflixparty.com/ Jigsaw Puzzles: If you’re bored and want to do a puzzle with a friend, try https://jigsawpuzzles.io/. Many of you have been asking about community service while doing distance learning. I wanted to share some opportunities locally that you may want to do over your spring break. West Coast Soccer Community Service Program Want a way to make a difference, get free on the job training, gain experience, and earn your community service hours while having fun? West Coast Soccer is now offering a Community Service Program. It will all take place in Mountain House. The spring session will begin the week of March 9th and end May 16th. There will also be a fall session that begins in August. With a list of opportunities there is something for everyone: Mentor, Coach, Referee, Photographer, Reporter, Web Designer, or Videographer. You can create a short video of a soccer skill for beginner levels to see and learn!
